Thank You For The Wait

The wait itself isn't the main focus of any waiting story. It's the uncertainty of the wait time that triggers a chain reaction, reforming the "wait" into something must be done! Now I have to complete this waiting thing somehow, damn! And any alternative action I could take would have a purpose —I'd produce something or get a result. Some might say the result is the thing you’re waiting for, but hell NO!— I never wanted to wait in the first place... I wanted to see the doctor, withdraw some cash, get my damn toaster fixed... I didn’t wanted this time that I have no idea how long…

The wait wasn't wanted, perhaps expected, but definitely not wanted.

So when I hear "Please Take a Seat and We Will Call Your Name," I immediately ask "how much time are we talking about?" It's often perceived as impatience, but it's actually a basic need for certainty. Thanks who respect that.

Also there’s this thing “Thank You For The Wait!”, which I don’t want to go in further, it’s just a hook for you to get into, if you have an interest, or I don’t know if you are waiting?
